I am a Person of Action - The 3rd decision of success

I have travelled an very long way in the past few months. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally.

My journey is one that I will now be on for the rest of my life, taking my family, friends and as many others as possible along with me to enjoy the ride.

Until I read The Travelers Gift, I didn't understand that I had to BE a person of action NOW.

I always thought "I'll start that tomorrow", but something always came up and I never did.

I found 101 excuses to procrastinate. I was never quite ready, or I just had to find out a little more before I started.

I would read something or hear something and get so fired up and motivated, then it would fade away without anything happening.

I let mediocrity rule my life never wanting to move out of my comfort zone.

In the book, Chamberlin is faced with a decision that holds the fate of not only himself, but all his men squarely in the palm of his hand.

Out of ammunition, his officers were telling him to retreat.

But as a true leader, and with total clarity and conviction, he ordered his men to fix bayonets and CHARGE! winning the battle of Gettysburg against what seemed like insurmountable odds.

I now understand that without the 3rd decision a person can NEVER be a leader or successful.

It is the actions that YOU take that will inspire others to follow, for without those actions, how do they even know you exist?

I am proud to say that I am now truly A Person of ACTION.
