Throughout the ages, people have always found new and exciting ways to start a new business. These business startup ideas have historically been fed largely by the latest technology of the time, and this has allowed the successful entrepreneur to take advantage of emerging markets, in many cases, making their fortune.

In our modern world, one of the latest business startup ideas has been the Online Marketing, or Internet Marketing Business. It is obvious to those with any foresight that the internet now allows the entrepreneur to leverage not only their time and money, but also the immense power of a global marketing platform to which they now have access.

Although at present, it is still seen as "thinking outside the box", the Internet Marketing Entrepreneur has started to carve an extremely successful living in a world where opportunities seem to be dwindling. The fact is that in the coming years, more and more people will make the move outside of their comfort zones, giving up their J.O.B. (which stands for Just Over Broke), in favour of a far better lifestyle. It is only a matter of time before going to work for someone else, 8 hours a day, will be seen as unusual and extremely unattractive.

Even today, many entrepreneurs are still choosing the more traditional "brick and mortar" style business startup ideas, rather than crossing the bridge to a modern way of thinking and doing business online. This is a mistake in my opinion, as we have definitely moved out of the industrial age, and into the information age. Most people are just slow to catch up!

So if you sat there, sick of the "same old, same old", thinking that you would like to start a new business, take some advice from someone who has had tremendous success. Start your new business idea ONLINE!

Never has there been such opportunity for the entrepreneur with even a small amount of foresight. Say to yourself, "Mediocrity has no place in my life any longer. I will not settle for what everybody else has, and I will think outside the box to find a way forward to the life my family and I truly deserve".

With this new way of thinking and a plan to take positive action, you will be amazed at what can be achieved in a short amount of time.

Remember, in order to have something new, you have to do something new. And to do something new, you have to think something new.

Persistence is the Solution to Wealth, Success and Happiness

This is one of the most important lessons that new entrepreneurs can ever learn. No matter what business you are in or what job you do, success will only make an appearance through hard work and persistence. You can never fail as long as you don't quit and although you may have temporary defeats, you will never lose as long as you persist.

It is human nature, ever since the beginning of time, to get distracted by things happening around us. These constant detours will never bring you to greatness and the person who seeks success needs to recognise these distractions and learn to ignore them.

During my journey to success I have seen the struggle that we all fight in keeping our gaze fixed firmly on our goals and doing what is necessary to reach it with minimum distraction.

Napoleon Hill said:

"Before success comes in any man's life, he's sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That's exactly what the majority of men do."

"No man is ever whipped until he quits in his own mind."

Are you one of the majority who quits at the first sign of defeat, or do you stand out from the crowd and show the "sheep" how it's done?

There will be times when you will feel like giving up. I have been there myself and it is at such times when the persistent person will push through, their mind filled with nothing but the end result they desire. This is what separates the successful person from almost everybody else.

You have to play this game to win and being persistent is the key.

So I have a question for you... Are you in, or are you out? Make the decision, stay the course and do not quit.

Becoming an Successful Entrepreneur by Being Selective

It is human nature to get distracted.

Without a clear purpose, you keep changing directions, changing jobs, changing relationships and changing everything else in your life hoping that each change will settle the confusion or fill the emptiness you have within you. You think to yourself "this time it'll be different".

Here's the reality, it isn't!

It doesn't solve the real problem - Lack of focus.

Nothing is as potent as a focused life and the people who make the greatest difference in life are the most focused. So if you want your life to have impact, focus it.

Stop dabbling and stop trying to do it all. Instead, do LESS!

Do only that which matters most and never confuse activity with productivity.

Concentrate - Bend your energies to one point and go directly to that point, looking neither to the right nor to the left.

Focus does not come easily. It is a discipline that must be practiced each and every day.

Focus does three things for you:

· It keeps you on target - It stops you spending time on things that don't really matter and that you don't really care about.

· It increases your energy - Attempting everything, like attempting nothing, will suck the life out of you. Focus energizes you.

· Focus lifts you - It's been said that the world stands aside to let anyone pass who KNOWS where he or she is going. In a sea of mediocrity, just knowing what you want to do, and making the effort to pursue it, distinguishes you from almost everybody else. Just by striving to become better than you are, you become elevated.

I challenge you to focus.

Meditate every day on what you really want.

It takes discipline and concentration but this is what separates the achievers from the spectators.

Today, make a stand to be an achiever and make this level of focus a habit in your life

People need to DECIDE to be successful and not blame others or circumstances for the lack of success.
I know that might sound a bit harsh, but that is the absolute truth of the matter.
Someone who has made the definite decision to be successful will not let anything stand in their way until they reach that goal. They also know that real success is NEVER gained by standing on the shoulders of the less fortunate. The truly successful person becomes a leader to others who also wish to gain success and shows them how it's done.

In my personal journey to success, I have learned many truths that have transformed my life, with no small part coming from an amazing book called The Travelers Gift by the great Andy Andrews. I am a Person of Action - The 3rd decision of success

I have travelled an very long way in the past few months. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally.

My journey is one that I will now be on for the rest of my life, taking my family, friends and as many others as possible along with me to enjoy the ride.

Until I read The Travelers Gift, I didn't understand that I had to BE a person of action NOW.

I always thought "I'll start that tomorrow", but something always came up and I never did.

I found 101 excuses to procrastinate. I was never quite ready, or I just had to find out a little more before I started.

I would read something or hear something and get so fired up and motivated, then it would fade away without anything happening.

I let mediocrity rule my life never wanting to move out of my comfort zone.

In the book, Chamberlin is faced with a decision that holds the fate of not only himself, but all his men squarely in the palm of his hand.

Out of ammunition, his officers were telling him to retreat.

But as a true leader, and with total clarity and conviction, he ordered his men to fix bayonets and CHARGE! winning the battle of Gettysburg against what seemed like insurmountable odds.

I now understand that without the 3rd decision a person can NEVER be a leader or successful.

It is the actions that YOU take that will inspire others to follow, for without those actions, how do they even know you exist?
